Integration: HubSpot & Blue Green Analytics

In just a few minutes, you can connect HubSpot to your Blue Green Analytics account to visualize how your HubSpot contacts interact with your website.

Connecting your HubSpot account

  1. In your Blue Green Analytics account, click on the icon_intergration Integrations icon in the left-side navigation.
  2. Locate the HubSpot integration, and click Add integration.
  3. Once directed to HubSpot, click Connect app.
  4. Once you are redirected back to Blue Green Analytics, the connection is complete!
If you have access to multiple HubSpot portals, you will need to select the relevant account between steps 2 and 3.

Using the integration

Once connected, you'll be able to filter flows by companies, found in HubSpot, that are associated with contacts who have visited your site during the selected time period.

  1. Open any existing flow or generate a new one.
  2. Using the toolbar at the top, open the Flow filters.
  3. Click Add a filter and select HubSpot in the first dropdown
  4. Choose is equal to and select a company in the second dropdown -or- choose is any of and select any number of companies in the second dropdown.
  5. Click Apply filter(s).

If you're not seeing HubSpot as an option in the Flow filters—and you've confirmed the two apps are connected—it's likely that visitors on your site have not yet been identified by HubSpot's tracking code. A visitor can be identified as a contact when they fill out a lead form or book a meeting through a HubSpot meeting link. Only then, HubSpot is able to connect the anonymous visit to a specific contact.

Pausing the integration

If you want to temporarily pause the connection between Blue Green Analytics and your HubSpot

 account, follow the steps below:

  1. In your Blue Green Analytics account, click on the Integrations icon in the left-side navigation.
  2. Locate the HubSpot integration, and click Manage settings.
  3. Click Pause integration.
That’s it. Although the connection still exists, data will not be passed between HubSpot and Blue Green Analytics until you resume the integration.

Disconnecting HubSpot from Blue Green Analytics

To disconnect HubSpot from your Blue Green Analytics account, follow these simple steps:

  1. In your Blue Green Analytics account, click on the Integrations icon in the left-side navigation.
  2. Locate the HubSpot integration, and click Manage settings.
  3. Click Uninstall integration.
